Terrebonne is a city in Quebec, capital of the MRC des Moulins, in the Lanaudière region. It is part of the northern suburbs of Montreal. Between 1986 and 2021, its population grew from 24,864 to 119,360, in particular thanks to a merger with the cities of Lachenaie and La Plaine in 2001. In 2014, Terrebonne was recognized as the tenth largest city in Quebec.
